This policy explains what personal information Simplecopytools LLC (“we”, “us”) collects through simplecopytools.com, why, and what choices you have.

Who we are

What we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, fill in the project brief form or email us, we collect:

your name and email address;
your phone number, if you give it;
your company name, if you give it;
your billing postal address (street, city, state, ZIP, country);
the details of your order and project brief, including any website addresses, files or notes you send us;
anything else you choose to put in a message.

Payment details. Card details entered at checkout are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our servers. We keep only the last four digits of the card, the order total and the order reference. The checkout currently runs in test mode, in which no real payment is taken and card details stay in your browser.

Information collected automatically. If you agree to analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, the approximate area you’re in, your device and browser type, and how you arrived. If you decline, we don’t load it. See our Cookie policy.

Information stored in your browser. Your cart and your cookie choice are stored in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and aren’t sent to us.

How we use it

To deliver what you ordered, including confirming your order, scheduling kickoff and writing your copy.
To reply to your messages and briefs.
To take payment, keep order and tax records, and issue invoices.
To understand which pages are useful, but only if you accept analytics.
To protect the site against spam and abuse, and to meet legal duties.

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t use it for advertising or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with the services that help us run the site and deliver your order:

the form-handling service that delivers your project briefs and orders to our inbox;
our payment provider, once real payments are enabled;
our email and document tools, which we use to correspond with you and deliver copy;
Google, for analytics, only if you consent;
professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. They may use it only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep order and billing records for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records. We keep briefs and project files while we work with you and afterwards for a reasonable period in case you need revisions or follow-up. Messages that don’t lead to an order are deleted after a reasonable period. You can ask us to delete your information earlier, unless we must keep it by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose. Email support@simplecopytools.com from the address you used and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honour them. You can change your cookie choices at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including HTTPS on this site and limiting who can see project files. No online service can promise perfect security, so please don’t send us anything highly sensitive that we don’t need, such as government ID numbers.

Children

The site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.

Links to other sites

The site may link to other sites, such as Google Maps. They have their own privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we also tell people who have an order with us.
