Refund policy
This policy covers cancellation and refunds for orders placed with Simplecopytools LLC. It forms part of our Terms. Because copywriting is a service delivered in stages, what you can get back depends on how far the work has gone.
Cancel before kickoff
- More than 24 hours before your scheduled kickoff: cancel free of charge and we refund the full order, including any Priority start fee.
- Within 24 hours of kickoff, but before it begins: a 50% fee applies. We refund the other 50%.
Kickoff is the date we confirm by email after your order. If you reschedule it more than 24 hours before the date, there is no charge. Rescheduling within 24 hours of kickoff may incur the 50% fee.
Cancel after work has started
Once kickoff has happened, refunds depend on the stage reached:

The Priority start fee is not refunded once work has started. To cancel, email support@simplecopytools.com with your order reference.
Copy audit
The copy audit is a single deliverable. It follows the same pattern: full refund more than 24 hours before kickoff, 50% fee within 24 hours, and no refund once the audit has been delivered.
Monthly plans and retainers
Monthly items renew each month until you cancel. Cancel by email before your next billing date and you won’t be billed again. A month already billed isn’t refunded once work for that month has started. If you cancel before work for that month starts, we refund that month.
If we get it wrong
If we can’t deliver what the package promises, or we miss the stated delivery date by a long way for reasons within our control, tell us. We will fix it, and if we can’t, we refund the part of the order we haven’t delivered. If you’re unhappy with a draft, use your revision rounds first: tell us what isn’t working and we change it.
What isn’t refundable
- Work delivered and accepted, or delivered with revision rounds unused.
- Changes of mind about direction after you approved a draft, which are new scope.
- Delay caused by materials or feedback arriving late.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days of our confirming them. Your bank may take longer to show them. While the checkout is in test mode, no real payment is taken, so there is nothing to refund.
