Format: email sequence · Brief: fictional · Spec rewrite

The brief

Pantry Post is a fictional subscription spice box. New customers get one generic welcome email, then discount emails. The owner wants customers to cook with the first box and order a second.

Pantry Post is fictional. The products and the offer were invented for this sample.

Email 1 body

Your first Pantry Post box ships Thursday and should reach you by Monday. Inside: six spices, one recipe card, and a small bag of flaky salt. We send a tracking link when it leaves. If the address is wrong, reply to this email and we will fix it today.

Why it works

  • Each email has one job and one link.
  • The sequence reads like one person writing over two weeks.
  • The ask for a second order comes after the customer has used the product.

One email, one job.

A 5 or 10 email welcome, nurture or onboarding sequence, with a job for each email and a sending order.
